How do I get to???

While our friendly front office team know where most major tourist attractions are, if it is a stamp from the 17th century or a long lost aunt you are trying to track down, we are more than happy to look on the internet or whereis.com and print out directions for you!

Are you near any parks?

We are surrounded by Parklands, from Fawkner Park which is great for strolling and the Royal Botanical Gardens with a running track known as ‘the tan’ right around it

How many guests are allowed in the rooms?

Most rooms accommodate 2 people, however we also have a variety of rooms that sleep 3 or 4 (there is of course an extra charge per person).

Can I have a party or wedding at the hotel?

No, not in the rooms but we do hire out the Mansion which includes a 2 bedroom Penthouse and several other heritage rooms, please enquire at the front desk.

Are children welcome?


Yes children are welcome anytime as long as they are on a leash, woops as long as they behave and have nice manners!!!

Are we gay friendly?

Yes of course we are, we welcome all colours, shapes and sizes!!!

How often is the housekeeping service?


Every day except Christmas Day, we only throw clean towels at you then!!

Do you have a pool?


Yes we do have a brand spanking new rooftop lap pool and garden.

Do you have any rooms with kitchens and lounge/dining areas?


Yes the two bedroom Bloomfield Suite has a separate kitchen/lounge/dining area.  Our Mansion Suites have a lounge area within the room.

What are the rates?


Click on the ‘check rates and availability’ to see our current rates and packages.

How do we pay?

You can book online through our website or call the front desk to make a booking and they will take a credit card to secure the booking. You will be charged the full amount of your stay upon check-in, you must have a credit card for all incidentals.

What if I need to cancel or make a date change?

We are happy to accept cancellations or make a date change as long as it is outside our 48 hour cancellation period.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Sorry to say but global rules apply here, check in is 2pm and check out is 10am, we are happy to extend upon request and subject to availability.

What time do I have to check in by?


Our reception is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!!!

Are pets allowed at the hotel?

We do allow pets in some of our rooms with floorboards, for rules and regs on our four legged friends please contact the hotel on 03) 9866 4485, this must be organized prior to travel as the rooms are limited.

We are excited to announce we now offer dinner 3 nights a week from 6pm - 10pm in our new restaurant the Bloomfield Bar & Bistro all prepared by resident chef Anthony Siketa.
